I am a work-in-progress side-gig photographer based in Orange County, California. I have a passion for photography because I believe we all deserve to look and feel beautiful, and there’s nothing like a high-quality photo of one's self to provide some much-needed self confidence.

Here’s my history as it pertains to photography:

I picked up my first point-and-shoot digital camera at age 13 and after years of anticipation, finally upgraded to a DSLR at 22 with the funds I received as college graduation gifts and a 50% off sale as a sign it was time. In the few years since then, I have been loving capturing all of the same places, things, and some of the same people, but armed with much better equipment.

I bought the camera for myself but after some time, some friends asked me to take photos of them for social media. It’s always rewarding when a friend is happy with my work, but eventually I graduated to some paid opportunities. The first compensation I ever got for my work was a dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant with the clients. In September of 2017 I started to sell my photography as stock photography on Shutterstock, and I get a thrill whenever someone new buys one of my photos. My first substantial gig was working as the second shooter for a wedding in July 2018. After that, I realized I have some potential and look forward to continued growth in both my skill and number of satisfied subjects.

I have been working in Photoshop since I was just 12 years old - putting me at 12 years of photo editing experience. I have also worked as a graphic designer for years and can edit photos very quickly or match an editing style you really like.

In addition, I have a Bachelor’s degree in English with minors in Spanish and Theatre from the University of Portland. I work as a marketing writer.
